Jean-Frederick Duquette, Lead Simulation and Virtualization – SMART Solutions at WSP, brings over 24 years of experience in 3D visualization, with a strong blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and leadership. Starting as a 3D modeler and texture artist, he has worked on diverse projects ranging from urban environments and airports to real-time simulations for the Airbus A380. At WSP, he has led cutting-edge initiatives in visual databases, cinematic storytelling, health and safety gamification, and immersive training solutions. With a passion for pushing technological boundaries, he will share his views on driving operational improvements using digital twin technology—demonstrating how immersive, data-driven environments can enhance decision-making, boost efficiency, and support safer, smarter infrastructure management.

He will share his views on the three key digital twin streams—data-driven, physics-based, and visual—and how WSP strategically approaches each to deliver tailored solutions for diverse operational needs.
